This might be of interest from
www.wnxx.com/ in the "For Sale" bit:
15 Oct 04
Cotswold Rail: 47528
Currently residing in Doncaster West yard adjacent to Doncaster station 47528 (D1111) is available for sale by Cotswold Rail. It is fully braked, therefore it can be moved by rail and is considered to be all but complete. Of historical importance is that 47528, as D1111, was the last Class 47 to be built and delivered to BR by Crewe works.Â
Serious expressions of interest to…
CREL, PO Box 22, CAM, Gloucestershire, GL11 5YA.
Cheers!
